Director of Admissions
The Director of Admissions oversees aspects of student recruitment, enrollment, and retention. This role is responsible for sharing the mission of St. John Neumann Catholic School with prospective families, guiding them through the admissions process, and helping ensure that enrollment goals are met each year. The ideal candidate should be a team player who has a collaborative nature, positive energy, and possesses superior organization and prioritization skills. Candidates should be self-motivated to complete their work, have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact comfortably with a variety of people. This person will have genuine empathy for prospective families and an awareness of the needs and sensitivities of parents, students, faculty, staff and administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent SJNCS and serve as a face of the school to the broader community, and prospective families.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions and enrollment management strategy.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective families from inquiry through enrollment.
- Plan and coordinate admissions events such as open houses, tours, shadow days, move up days, the Back to School Bash, and new family orientations.
- Maintain accurate admissions and enrollment data using the school’s student information system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote the school through digital, print, and community outreach initiatives.
- Assist in the planning and execution of major school events including the annual Off to the Races Derby Auction, Mustang Mania, and Harvesting for Him.
- Manage parent and student expectations and deliver admissions decisions in a manner that is honest, caring, and diplomatic.
- Collaborate with administration and other stakeholders in retention efforts for all students.
- Represent the school with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm both on and off campus.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree is a plus but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in admissions, marketing, development, or education—preferably in a Catholic or independent school setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic education.
- Proficiency with technology and database systems; familiarity with FACTS a plus.

Substitute Teachers
Before and After Care (BAC)
SJNCS Before and After Care program has immediate openings in the pre-K and combined elementary/middle school programs. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to work 2-5 days per week. Hours are 2:30-6pm (negotiable).
