Before and After School Care Program Director

Hours: Split shift — Morning & Afternoon (Before and After School) 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (and two hours of planning time)
Status: Full-Time | Year-Round

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily program activities for students ages PreK-8th Grade.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of program staff.
  • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment aligned with school and community values.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, school staff, and community partners.
  • Manage enrollment, scheduling, and compliance with licensing and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A background in education, child development, or a related field (degree preferred).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Elementary School (3rd Grade) Teacher (Full Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our Catholic school community in 3rd  Grade. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student growth. Teacher Assistant (Half-Time)

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support the instructional efforts of our faculty in our Catholic school. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in implementing lesson plans, providing individualized support to students, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities also include helping with classroom organization, preparing instructional materials, and providing supervision during recess and other activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to upholding Catholic values. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Experience in Catholic education is a plus. Substitute Teachers

St. John Neumann Catholic School is seeking substitute teachers for our Pre-K through 8th grade school in Farragut, TN. Substitute teachers will deliver lesson plans and classroom activities provided by the regular teacher, maintain classroom order and discipline in accordance with school policies, communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed, and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic faith in all interactions. Before and After Care (BAC)

SJNCS Before and After Care program has immediate openings in the pre-K and combined elementary/middle school programs.
