Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support the instructional efforts of our faculty in our Catholic school. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in implementing lesson plans, providing individualized support to students, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities also include helping with classroom organization, preparing instructional materials, and providing supervision during recess and other activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to upholding Catholic values. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Experience in Catholic education is a plus. SJNCS Before and After Care program has immediate openings in the pre-K and combined elementary/middle school programs. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to work 2-5 days per week. Hours are 2:30-6pm (negotiable).
