Admissions at SJNCS

Thank you for your interest in Saint John Neumann Catholic School. It is an honor to share the experience and value of a SJN education with you. SJNCS operates under an open enrollment plan where students are accepted throughout the year based on availability and grade level testing. Please contact Mary Marlowe to find out class availability and for additional information at

All students entering SJNCS for the first time and new to our diocesan school system are accepted on a probationary basis. The probationary period is for 60 school days and is intended to benefit both the student and the school. During the probationary period, if necessary, parents may be asked to attend a parent conference to discuss their student’s progress and placement. St. John Neumann Catholic School strives to provide a Christ-centered learning environment that promotes academic success and personal responsibility.

During the 60-day probationary period, if the school determines the student is unable to perform adequately in this environment, any prepaid tuition will be prorated and refunded. Grades will not be released until all accounts are current. Student fees are non-refundable.

Financial Aid Links

SJNCS is committed to helping make tuition affordable to all families seeking a Catholic education. Our Diocese is richly blessed to have supportive parishes who contribute monetary support to the Knoxville Regional Catholic Schools Operating Fund (KRCSOF). Along with providing the standard subsidy for every Catholic child in Catholic school, this fund provides additional financial assistance to our families who desire a Catholic school education , but might not otherwise be able to afford one.

In order to qualify for assistance, you must complete an online application through FACTS Management. The application deadline for tuition support is December 17, 2021.  The links below provide the instructions for completing the applications.
