Substitute Teachers

St. John Neumann Catholic School is seeking substitute teachers for our Pre-K through 8th grade school in Farragut, TN. Substitute teachers will deliver lesson plans and classroom activities provided by the regular teacher, maintain classroom order and discipline in accordance with school policies, communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed, and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic faith in all interactions. Spanish Teacher

St. John Neumann School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Spanish Teacher to join its Catholic school community. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging Spanish language lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of Catholic teachings and values, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish, and be able to create inclusive and respectful classroom environments. A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, as well as relevant teaching experience in Spanish language instruction, are required. Before and After Care (BAC)

SJNCS Before and After Care program has immediate openings in the pre-K and combined elementary/middle school programs. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to work 2-5 days per week.  Hours are 2:30-6pm (negotiable). High school students (18+) may also apply and school hours will be considered for starting times.  If interested in this position, contact Teresa Lavallee at tlavallee@sjncs-knox.org.
