Maintenance Worker, Full-Time

St. John Neumann Catholic Church & School has an immediate opening for a full-time maintenance worker.
The Maintenance Worker helps to provide a safe and efficient campus. Provides maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipment. Buildings, grounds, structures, to ensure safety to all persons, including, staff, children, and visitors, and to extend the life and appearance of the assets on the St. John Neumann Campus.
Qualifications:
 Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and valid Tennessee driver’s license.  Must be 18 years of age or older.  Extensive knowledge and experience of maintenance responsibilities, in the fields of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, sanitation, mechanics, air conditioning, ground maintenance and custodial care.
 • Work independently without direction
 • Walk long distances around campus; bend, stoop, squat, and reach; climb ladders.
 • Move, load and unload equipment and supplies weighing 40 pounds and heavier.
 • CMG Training, Criminal Background Clearance, Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.

Technology Coordinator  (Full Time)

Job Description:

The role and responsibilities of this position are to support the mission of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and School. The successful candidate will possess the skills and have successfully coordinated technology and provided technical support in an elementary/middle school environment and a parish office. The candidate will also oversee the management of ipads, laptops, desktops and printers, as well as the maintenance of user accounts for computers, network and telephones. The candidate will also provide software support, teacher equipment support, and printer support. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent and appropriate use of technology to enhance student performance.

Preferred characteristics of the desired candidate include: an undergraduate degree in technology or equivalent experience; prior experience in information technology support; strong organizational skills; proficiency in standard software used in offices, e.g. MS Office, or Google and the ability to learn new software as needed. Spanish Teacher

St. John Neumann School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Spanish Teacher to join its Catholic school community. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging Spanish language lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of Catholic teachings and values, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish, and be able to create inclusive and respectful classroom environments. A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, as well as relevant teaching experience in Spanish language instruction, are required. Before and After Care (BAC)

SJNCS Before and After Care program has immediate openings in the pre-K and combined elementary/middle school programs.
