Mr. Salem receives prestigious honor

Congratulations are in order to our Band Director and Music Teacher Mr. Shaun Salem! Mr. Salem will have original compositions played at this year’s Midwest Clinic in Chicago. Out of the many pieces the board reviewed from publishers across the whole country, Mr. Salem’s piece “Overture to the Great Hall” was added to a very short list of new compositions that were chosen to be read at Midwest Clinic this December. The piece was dedicated to the grand opening of the Clayton Center for the Arts in Maryville, TN.
